Circle of Light: A Day Retreat - Lucas Valley

Screen Shot 2019-09-30 at 4.37.20 PM.png

On October 19th Spirit House Collective will be hosting a mystical day of healing and growth in the Mountains of Lucas Valley.

Where there is light, there is shadow. Both reside within us, each with its purpose and ability to inform the other. We will be activating this light using the four elements, senses and spirit.

This circle is a space for you to release, express, expand and receive what you need most as we create an environment that will cradle your shadow elements not banish them, while giving your light the room it so desires to rise ever higher. A circle held for you without judgement and with the loving support of community.

Join us for an intimate day of self-reflection, expansion and healing. We will be exploring channeled messages from your Spirit Guides and Akashic Records, a sound journey, nourishing meals and a walking land meditation through the Lucas Valley.

THE DATE

October 19th is a powerful day numerically, as it holds the power of 1.  One is the number of creation, the primal force from which all other numbers spring forth. The one is the spearhead, directing and leading the collective. Even its shape infers its strength. The one walks upright with purpose, strong and unwavering in its journey forward. The one is capable of turning its ideas into reality, and together our circle will provide the support needed to feel empowered out beyond the valley, as hold the memories and magic of the Circle Of Light within our spirit forever.

THE PLACE + OUR ANCHOR

The Lucas Valley House is located in Northern California, just 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. The land is rich in connection and history. Originally inhabited by the Coastal Miwoks who lived in villages in Lucas Valley, where the Eichler homes now stand. We share the land with beautiful wild creatures including deer, coyotes, owls, mountain lions, hawks, cranes, wild hares and woodland rats. The home was built by the mid-century modern architect, Joseph Eichler in 1963, who believed in having a seamless connection between the indoors and outdoors. Spending time in an Eichler home will connect you back to the energy of the earth. Also a strong proponent of fair housing and deeply opposed to racial discrimination, Eichler was the first large, tract builder to sell to POC's providing affordable, safe space. In order to protect the surrounding beauty and nature of the land, the original home owners in the Lucas Valley neighborhood came together and purchased the Lucas Valley Preserve for the public to enjoy without any threat of further development.

JEANINE ALLPRESS-CLIFFE

Jeanine’s background began in mental health and art therapy, later making a career switch to the corporate world of hotels. By combining both careers with her personal journey, Jeanine offers a unique blend of wellness and hospitality. She has taken a deep dive into self care, healing and spiritual exploration for both herself and her clients. Over a five year journey, she explored many modalities, and met with many amazing practitioners. Excited to share some of what she has learned with community, Jeanine is offering space for wellness experiences and workshops at the Lucas Valley House.

It is a space where women can come together, catch their breath, show up as themselves, without judgement and with complete support of their own personal journey. A resource for expansion, awakening, spiritual growth, and breath. A place where we can all feel safe to take off the masks, walk through the veil and shine our own inner light, while having a little fun along the way.
