Holistically, Tori Amoscato of Lark Acupuncture and Stephanie Shaffer of Mamalier want to teach you some fantastic ways to stay well and whole while we trudge through the deep of Winter and help prepare you to transition into Spring! Come hang with your witchy sisters, one steeped in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the other Western Herbalism, and let them give you words of their collected wisdom in a fun interactive circle. You’ll learn ways to prevent and heal quickly from the flu and other viruses, as well as ways to jumpstart the cleansing process of your organs for the lighter months. We’ll talk about the importance of flowing with the cycles of the moon and elements of the seasons with practical ways you can easily achieve this flow. There will elderberry syrup, herbal infusions, and hugs. We love you and hope to see you there!
Tori is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who focuses on tapping into the mind-body connection for better health. She has a master's degree in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as a background in movement, dance and Pilates, which informs her understanding of physiology and functional alignment. She is particularly interested in using the mind-body connection to treat both acute symptoms and underlying causes of pain and illness. Her work rests on the understanding that that acknowledging the spectrum of variables surrounding an illness allows your body, mind and spirit to heal together.
Stephanie Shaffer aka Mamalier is a community herbalist, sommelier, and Mama. She works and serves her community local and far with guidance for how to live in symbiosis with the magic of nature through workshops and one on one appointments. *Please bring a journal and a pen.
