Online Workshop
We are activating healers of the diaspora to convene together in a moment of pause, stillness, and collective rest. The road to liberation is long and we are nothing without rest and restoration. We rest for ourselves and for our ancestors who couldn't. This event will prioritize rest and restoration for people of African descent through the healing alchemy of sound, breath, and the science of sleep.
Sound Healing is an ancient meditative practice that has been utilized to restore balance and alleviate grief and stress. It’s also a great healing modality for improving your quality of sleep. This two hour experience will include libation, breathwork, yoga nidra and sound healing, followed by an immersive collective rest experience and reflection. Please trust and believe that you are worthy of rest and you deserve to tap into your dreams, as it is your birthright.
Join Monica Cadena and Heather Archer, founders of Black Healers Connect, for Rest Then Rise: A Sound Healing and Collective Rest Experience for Liberation.
Please wear comfortable clothing and create a resting space with blankets, bolsters, candles and anything you need to decompress and drop in.
