Hello Friends,

The True Wellness program is very near and dear to my heart. As a Woman Of Color, I saw little to no representation in the wellness world when I began my spiritual journey. This experience has always been a part of what has fueled my vision for Spirit House Collective—diversity and inclusivity—but upon further thought, a realization came: was this enough?

Having a founder who is a WOC is not the same as being an ACTIVE participant in the growing conversation around racial inequality. Offering connection and education from diverse practitioners is no longer enough. Donating to organizations that prioritize social justice is no longer enough. When it comes to uplifting and amplifying our BIPOC community, we must be in constant motion to ensure that their needs are met and that their voices are heard.

The True Wellness Program was conceived over a year ago, but it has taken us until now to align on a clear focus and course of action. We own that. And through this program we vow to do better, to learn and to listen to the needs of our BIPOC community. BIPOC members have every right to be able to dive into whatever Spirit House Collective has to offer despite any setbacks born of racial oppression. This is ESPECIALLY true when considering that many of the practices and modalities being shared were created by our BIPOC ancestors.

This is about creating the change you wish to see in the world and holding ourselves accountable while being an active participant in the world of wellness. I see you and I am honored to hold space with all of you.

xoxo

Our virtual circles, brick and mortar studios and healing collectives must be living examples of growth and diversity.
