June Asks Us to Allow Integration to Inform Our Action
Hello Seekers!
There have been a lot of feelings flying around, pinging off the walls of our homes as well as our hearts, so I wanted to take some time to discuss integration.
As June begins, many of us will have been living under the orders of "shelter in place" for over 70 days. This is a long time to be disconnected from our normal routines, patterns, friends, loved ones, work and nature. There is so much to process as we begin to activate new ways of living and unpacking the idea of "the future."
I encourage all of you to focus as much as you can on the present. We cannot control the way in which this new world is born, but we can control how we engage with the now. We can make choices that will help us integrate our fears, doubts, and revelations into moments of clarity—by slowing down. Yes, that's right—slowing down our need to multitask and check items of our internal "to do" lists and allow the self-healing process to open us up to more trust, less anxiety, and deeper self understanding.
As the world turns, it begins to heal (alongside many of us within it). New cycles begin as nature is reignited by the pause we find ourselves in as we talk a deep collective breath in. The same reigniting can be applied to us. As we disengage from old patterns and routines, past traumas, hurts, anger, and frustrations may rise. These emotions and memories finally have the space and time to capture our attention. Please do your best not to turn them away; open up those windows to your soul, so that lessons and guidance can be woven into the physical and subtle bodies.
Scream out into the sky, cry while you are in the shower, laugh with abandon under the moon. Everything you feel has a story to tell, if we take the time to read between the lines. There is grief, death, and birth all around us. Let us acknowledge these cycles while holding ourselves gently through this time of unfolding. For those of you who are on the front lines, working double shifts, helping all of us to feel safe—we are holding your hearts as you venture out into this rapidly transforming landscape. We are sending you love, sending you strength and holding your hands through those moments of shadow.
Integration can be confusing and overwhelming, but if we remember that we are not alone, and make a choice to reach out, there will be someone to grab a hold of you—I promise.
Sending you all love and astral hugs,
xoxo
