September's Cosmic Forecast: Restoring Balance and Building Trust
We begin September with a full moon lunation in the spiritual sign of Pisces (9.2). It’s been 6 months since the New Moon in Pisces, and it’s been quite a spiritual journey indeed. We learned the true meaning of empathy, compassion and the art of surrendering. We also learned that gripping doesn’t mean we have a hold on things, but rather the opposite. The more we surrendered and opened our palms is when we received the most from the Universe.
When Mercury enters Libra (9.5) and the Sun later in the month (9.22), we shift our perspective to ways in which we can create more balance, equality and harmony (within ourselves and with/for others). Beauty is balance. Balance is peace. Peace is equality. With the Libran energies we are motivated to find ways to restore more balance in our inner and outer world. We have to release the disease to please and to learn how to stand strong in our partnerships. Venus in Leo (9.6) helps us to remember our heart and to be unapologetic about being our most joyful, authentic selves.
Mid-month we have Mars going retrograde in Aries (9.9-11.14). Mars in Aries is our will/motivation/drive to initiate and to ignite the fire. Mars RX in Aries for 3 months asks us to slow down enough to reevaluate our actions. Are we doing things to just do things or is there a smarter and more effective way to the best results? Are we using our physical energy in the most efficient way? And towards what end? The saving grace this month is Jupiter finally going direct in Capricorn (9.13). There has been a lot of behind-the-scenes work with Jupiter RX in Capricorn—drafting the blueprints of our dreams and working through any self-doubts that surfaced in the process. With the planet of luck and abundance moving forward, we will see that all the preparations weren’t for naught.
With the New Moon in Virgo (9.17), we can set new intentions of how we can be more organized and systematic with our dreams. Virgo energy is about the tangibility of personal purpose. A working system/process is a living legacy. What is the legacy you’d like to offer and leave for others? Mercury enters Scorpio (9.27) and our passion, intensity and transformative power is top of mind. Scorpio keeps it so real with the desire to break the status quo on connection, healing and intimacy. We will want to do the same during this time. Saturn going direct in Capricorn (9.29), is a step forward for us. As long as we continue to show up for ourselves with integrity and determination, Saturn will reward us for the work. Saturn is all about fairness. Do the work and the work will pay off—that’s a fact with Saturn. We will begin to trust this fact as well.
